THE OUTLINE – LONDON
Saying that the Coronavirus pandemic has changed the world and how we live would be an understatement. The pandemic has changed how we work, learn
and interact as social distancing guidelines have led to a more virtual existence, both personally and professionally. A quick adaptation was required due to the worldwide shock everyone went through.
The Outline project was designed while keeping in mind the Coronavirus and any future challenges the world might face. COVID-19 demonstrated how little we
need huge workspaces with costly rents, as the same kind of work can be done and achieved within our homes. Another aspect that affected the way we live is
how we interact with our surroundings, sensors and self-sanitizing items where introduced widely. The Outline offers an application that allows users to use the building functions throughout a smartphone, starting with your own unit, to shopping and reserving at a restaurant inside the building. The Outline project provides open spaces and plenty of outdoor activities for people to gather without having to stay in a closed space. Sustainable systems are introduced throw-out the buildings in order to encourage green architecture and reduce gas emissions throughout the city.
